October 9th Is National Coming Out Day
On Oct. 9, just in time for National Coming Out Day, PFLAG Plymouth/Canton's chapter is sponsoring a Virtual Pride concert, featuring area artists and performers, thanks to the help of our friends at PFLAG National and Verizon. It will be live-streamed, and they are delighted to feature Sing Out Detroit, Drag Queen Story Time and Eastern Stars dance group, among others. They'll send out more information in coming weeks about how to tune in.
October Is Trans Empowerment Month 2021
You’re invited to Trans Empowerment Month 2021!
Throughout the entire month of October, Stand with Trans is hosting a variety of virtual presentations, panels and performances as well as some in-person events for trans youth, caregivers and anyone who works with transgender youth. Our theme Be YOU encourages YOU to show up as your authentic SELF!
With over 700 registrants last year from all over the US and throughout the world, we are continuing this momentum in October 2021 and making this the best year yet!
